"Vicky played at our wedding ceremony
in the Marlborough Sounds. Their musical
skills and presentation was excellent. They
were very accommodating with the format of
our day and played at pre wedding drinks,
the ceremony and the pre dinner drinks all
at different locations. They learnt the
music of a special request to play at our
event which they had never heard of prior.
We would thoroughly recommend them."

"In February 2011 we visited The
Portage with a view to holding
our own wedding in that superb
Marlborough Sounds resort hotel.
After checking in we went to our
room to unpack before meeting
with the Wedding Planner and
then our intended Celebrant.
Taking a coffee to the deck of
our suite, which overlooked the
resort's lawn which in turn
overlooked the Kenepuru sound,
we noticed two violinists
setting up under the umbrellas
in the mid afternoon sun.
Shortly they began to play and
in the quietness of Portage Bay
their beautiful music enveloped
us as they welcomed guests from
the United Kingdom to a very
special, intimate wedding ...we
were smitten!
At that moment The Portage was
our choice and we knew who would
provide the music at our May
wedding. After they had finished
their duties Annie and I sought
out the violinists and arranged
a May date!
The rest is history. Welcoming
our guests, playing selected
pieces during the ceremony and
entertaining us all later, our
wedding day was as special as
you could wish. Additionally,
in the intervening period we had
discussed with Vicky the
addition of a soprano voice to
add to our occasion; this the
trio accomplished with finesse
though it might be said we were
otherwise focused! Our guests
were entranced throughout.
So, if you want to create a
special ambiance at your wedding
or special occasion, it's a
'no-contest'. Strings Classical
every time."

"The Marlborough Convention
Centre took over the management
of the Bridal Expo for 2011; the
expo is run as a non-profitable
event with door takings being
donated to the Child Cancer
Society.
We arranged to have musical
entertainment at the expo
through out the day, I was
recommended to talk with Vicky
Mack.
Vicky did not hesitate in
offering her time to play at the
expo. I found Vicky to be very
friendly, easy to communicate
with and has a very professional
manner. Vicky came and played
for an hour, helping to create a
lovely atmosphere and making for
an enjoyable experience for
brides and grooms attend the
expo. Vicky gave a beautiful
solo performance, a perfect
arrangement of music to suit any
wedding.
Vicky was an enjoyment to work
with; I would not hesitate in
recommending her for any event
and would love to have her play
at the Convention Centre again
sometime soon."

"Now that we have returned from
our honeymoon we just wanted to
say thank you for all your help
with our wedding on Jan 7. We
were extremely happy with your
trio - your performance was
brilliant - everything sounded
absolutely perfect for the
occasion. In particular, the
performance during Caroline's
entrance for the ceremony was
amazing. We also want to wish
you all the best for your future
endeavours. We have been nothing
but impressed with your
professionalism and we are sure
you will be a big success at
whatever you do. Thanks again
for helping to make our wedding
